The RVO study further reveals that:
- 78% of the respondents have a charging spot at home (private home charging station or charging via a socket), and an average of 76% of the kilometers are charged there.
- EV drivers relatively often have their own driveway or charging facility. This suggests that having a private driveway or charging facility is important when deciding to drive electric.
- Approximately half of the kilometers charged at home are registered via a charging card; the other half of the kilometers charged at a private home charging station takes place out of sight of service providers and grid operators.
